About CAEG

China Arts and Entertainment Group Ltd. (CAEG) was established in April 2004 with the approval of the State Council, formed by the restructuring of the China Performing Arts Agency (founded in 1957) and the China International Exhibition Agency (founded in 1950). In January 2021, it was transferred to Bauhinia Culture Group.

As a central cultural enterprise with global operations, CAEG has formed four major business sectors: international performing arts, art exhibitions, cultural tourism, and theater operation. Relying on four core subsidiaries including China Performing Arts Agency, China International Exhibition Agency, China Cultural International Travel Service, and CPAA Theatres, CAEG organizes over 5,000 performances and exhibitions annually, reaching over 10 million diverse audiences.

The Group and its subsidiaries have been awarded honorary titles such as "Advanced Collective for Beijing Olympics and Paralympics", "National Cultural Export Demonstration Base", etc. Since 2009, it has been selected as one of the "Top 30 National Cultural Enterprises" for eight consecutive times.
