To celebrate the grand opening of the CPAA Chengdu Grand Theatre on April 29, 2026, a modern art masterpieces and invitational exhibition of distinguished artists, held by the China Arts and Entertainment Group (CAEG), opened at the Chengdu Grand Theatre, with online sale of the digital asset series being launched at the same time.

With Bashu culture as its central theme, the exhibition features over 40 masterpieces from contemporary Chinese art masters, including Qi Baishi's iconic Peaceful Forever, Fu Baoshi's landscape works exemplifying his characteristic brushwork, Xu Beihong's Lady Jiang Biwei created during his stay in Chongqing, and Wu Guanzhong's cherished Quiet and Secluded Qingcheng Mountain. Also on view are Qian Songyan's landmark Red Crag, which signaled a new direction for modern Chinese landscape painting, and Sichuan-born artist Shi Lu's magnificent Banks of the Yellow River.

At the same time, taking the exhibition as an opportunity, the Management Department of CAEG’s Art Collection Exhibition launched its first online sale of a digital asset series. The series features six digitized classic works by masters such as Pan Tianshou, Fu Baoshi, Qi Baishi, and Xu Beihong. Adopting a model that integrates online sales with offline exhibition, the initiative brings classic art into everyday life through digital means, breaking traditional boundaries of art appreciation.

This launch marks a significant step by the CAEG to revitalize its collection resources and explore compliant digital asset operations. By combining classical art with modern technology, the exhibition not only offers Chengdu audiences a timeless aesthetic journey but also injects new vitality into the preservation and innovation of traditional culture.
