CPAA Theatres and Tencent Music Entertainment Group have officially signed a three-year strategic cooperation agreement, aiming to drive the deep integration of live performances and online music ecosystems. The partnership seeks to establish a new benchmark for the convergence of online and offline music experiences.

Under the agreement, both parties will leverage their respective strengths across multiple areas. These include co-producing and operating theatre shows and large-scale concerts, integrating online and offline resources to build an artist development system, and launching a touring IP designed to nurture emerging talents. Additionally, they will collaborate on diverse music initiatives such as music salons, cross-disciplinary art performances, and intimate live sessions, creating immersive entertainment spaces that bring fresh energy to the industry.

Hong Ning, General Manager of CPAA Theatres, described the partnership as a significant milestone in combining the company's extensive offline performance network with Tencent Music's robust digital ecosystem. He noted that the collaboration will bridge online audiences with physical venues, bringing promising artists and quality works from digital platforms to real-world stages, offering audiences richer and more multi-dimensional live experiences.

Zeng Zhizhong, Vice President of Content Cooperation at Tencent Music, added that the agreement represents a solid step forward in the company's efforts to strengthen its live music ecosystem. By leveraging CPAA Theatres' nationwide venue network, the partnership aims to provide more growth opportunities for artists — particularly emerging talents — while delivering a broader range of high-quality live music experiences to fans.
