Operated by China Arts and Entertainment Group (CAEG), and scheduled to open in early 2026, the CPAA Chengdu Grand Theatre in Chengdu's Chenghua district represents a 600-million-yuan (about $86.81 million) investment. The "Industrial-Chic" complex will feature a 1,400-seat theatre, a 500-seat experimental theatre, and an open-air stage, integrating performance, education, commerce, and parkland into a 24/7 arts district.
