The largest and most professional comprehensive theatre in Dezhou, the Dezhou Grand Theatre, a 560-million-yuan (about $80.83 million) venue, covers approximately 38,100 square meters. It houses a 1,404-seat main theatre, a 504-seat multi-functional theatre, and a 170-seat report hall. Upon its completion, the theatre served as one of the key venues for the 10th China Arts Festival, successfully hosting multiple award-contending and trial performance, including four competing productions (with a total of eight performances) for the "Wenhua Award" as well as six trial performances, earning the honorary title of "Outstanding Venue of the 10th Arts Festival."
