China Arts and Entertainment Group (CAEG) has been a proud executor of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's flagship "Happy Chinese New Year" program. In long-standing partnership with government-appointed bodies and renowned educational institutions both domestically and internationally, the group has organized and facilitated winter performance tours for Chinese student art troupes across Europe and the United States for nearly two decades. These tours bring the vibrant spirit and exceptional artistic talent of China's youth to the stage—from sister cities and mainstream theaters to partner schools—showcasing the enduring charm of traditional Chinese culture during the Chinese New Year to American audiences and young people alike.
CAEG's commitment to international youth exchange extends to inbound study programs. In close collaboration with Chinese embassies, consulates, cultural centers, and tourism offices worldwide, CAEG has hosted international youth delegations for immersive cultural summer camps in many cities and regions of China. These programs feature academic sessions at prestigious universities like Beihang University and Southwest University, alongside dynamic cultural exchanges and collaborative workshops hosted at CAEG's network of theaters.
Furthermore, CAEG holds a deep commitment to fostering solidarity between the youth of the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao. Under the guidance of relevant authorities including Bauhinia Culture Group, CAEG has organized the "Cultural Practice Activities for Hong Kong and Macao University Students" for over twenty consecutive years. This initiative, led by the Bureau of International Exchange and Cooperation (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office) of China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism, has provided thousands of outstanding students from Hong Kong and Macao with invaluable internship opportunities at leading cultural institutions and enterprises across the mainland. The program stands as a vital platform for young participants to deepen their understanding of the motherland, broaden their horizons, and enhance their professional competencies.
