Haikou' 1st Urban Art Week successfully completes
On Oct 10, the closing ceremony concert of the inaugural Haikou Urban Art Week, themed "An Agreement with the Coconut Breezes and Seaside Melodies," featured a spectacular performance by the Central National Music Orchestra presenting "Magnificent National Style" at the Hainan Provincial Song and Dance Theater. The Central National Music Orchestra meticulously showcased a performance rich in national musical instrument characteristics, interpreting Chinese cultural confidence through music and marking a successful conclusion to the first Haikou Urban Art Week.
The China Arts and Entertainment Group (CAEG) actively contributed state-owned enterprise resources to the inaugural Haikou Art Week, bringing top-tier performances from the China Symphony Orchestra and the Central National Music Orchestra to the opening and closing ceremony concerts. Additionally, a selection of highly acclaimed stage plays, including the original musical "The Young Lion," added premium cultural content to the Haikou performance market during the National Day holiday, serving the local residents, tourists, and contributing to the construction of Haikou's urban cultural brand, laying a solid foundation for the long-term success of the Art Week.
The first Haikou Urban Art Week was organized by the Haikou Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government. Over the course of 10 days, a series of high-level and high-quality artistic performances including concerts, dramas, dance performances, exhibitions, and choirs were brought to the city, reaching the masses and integrating into daily life.
