CPAG signs strategic cooperation agreement with Yan'an City Performing Arts Group

The Chinese Performing Arts Group Limited (CPAG) and Yan'an City Performing Arts Group held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Beijing on Jan 3. Both parties adhere to the principle of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, actively promoting the entry of Yan'an cultural and artistic masterpieces into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and overseas markets, and enhancing the brand awareness of Yan'an city.

Guo Liqun, director and executive deputy general manager of CPAG, stated that Yan'an City Performing Arts Group, relying on Yan'an's unique Fu Shi culture, Yellow Emperor culture, and red culture, has developed a large number of classic outstanding plays. As the main force of national cultural exchanges, CPAG has accumulated numerous domestic and international performing arts and cultural tourism resources over the years. Through this collaboration, the two sides will combine Yan'an's most representative cultural and artistic masterpieces with innovative communication channels. This will gradually create more distinctive and market-competitive cultural products, actively building a new engine for the high-quality development of cultural tourism integration.

Yang Ze, chairman of Yan'an Cultural Development (Group) Co., Ltd., expressed that in the new era, Yan'an City Performing Arts Group accurately reflects the themes and values of the times and carry out cultural creativity. CPAG possesses rich performing resources and an excellent artistic performance planning team, enjoying a high reputation both domestically and internationally. The resources of both parties are similar, highly compatible, and complementary. It is believed that the future cooperation will inject more vitality and fruitful results into the dissemination and display of traditional Yan'an culture and the promotion of Yan'an spirit.

At the signing ceremony, Wang Lu, general manager of CPAG, and Wan Qi, general manager of Yan'an City Performing Arts Group, signed the strategic cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, both parties will explore the deep historical heritage and contemporary value of Yan'an culture, inherit the Chinese cultural heritage, carry out practical cooperation in cultural tourism integration, brand cultivation, market expansion, and industrial chain extension, plan and launch more outstanding artistic works, and tell the Chinese stories hidden in Yan'an to the world.

After the signing ceremony, the two sides had in-depth discussions on the 2024 activity planning, as well as the overseas promotion of performing arts and intangible cultural heritage projects.
