The press conference of "Journey of Ceramics" - 2023 Jingdezhen International Ceramic Art Biennale was held in the Jingdezhen city of Jiangxi province on May 25.

In order to continue to support the construction of Jingdezhen National Ceramic Culture Inheritance and Innovation Experimental Zone, the Jingdezhen Municipal People's Government, Jingdezhen Ceramic University, China International Culture Group and International Academy of Ceramics (IAC) will continue to hold the Jingdezhen International Ceramic Art Biennale in 2023.

The theme of the exhibition is "The Journey of Ceramics".

At the press conference, Xu Hui, deputy mayor of Jingdezhen Municipal People's Government; Lu Pinchang, chief curator, deputy secretary of the party committee and vice president (in charge of administrative work) of Jingdezhen Ceramic University; and Li Baozong, general manager of China Arts and Entertainment Group Ltd. (CAEG) delivered speeches and talked about the planning of the 2023 Biennale.

Torbjørn Kvasbø, chairman of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC) and chief curator of the Biennale, delivered an online video speech. Lv Jinquan, curator of the ceramic painting exhibition and vice president of Jingdezhen Ceramic University; Zhang Yinglin, general manager of China International Exhibition Agency (CIEA); and Zhao Lantao, executive curator and deputy dean of the Academy of Fine Arts of Jingdezhen Ceramic University  answered questions from reporters. Dong Zhen, deputy director of the Publicity Department of Jingdezhen Municipal Party Committee, presided over the press conference.
