As one of the world’s exhibitions with the longest history, the Venice Biennale was created in 1895. Over the past 100 years and more, the Biennale has always provided clear and profound footnotes to the world’s modern and contemporary arts as an esteemed event. Following the history of the Venice Biennale is a journey of world arts history for nearly the past century. From the unique displays at the national pavilions, there have been   glimpses of arts developments in various countries during the period, from which new arts and new forms are detected.

The general theme of the La Biennale di Venezia is "How We Live Together", which aims to explore how architecture can promote equality, communication and integration among people. It is naturally inseparable from the most familiar prototype: "Yard" yuan’er) — A compound inhabited by multiple families at the same time. The “China Pavilion returns-Taoxichuan” exhibition is an academic inquiry about the theme of "Yuaner".
There are five parts to this exhibit: common understanding - "inspiration and intervention" and "classic and interpretation"; joint construction - "documentary of Wei Jianshuang China Pavilion in a special period"; common feeling - "listening to the courtyard" "Healing Together - "Everyone's Story Gallery". The part about common feeling - "Listening to the courtyard" the sound installation created by the sound artist Lei Luo, brings the audience to a brand new journey - the sensory experience of "the courtyard". In the Forbidden City, hutongs, porcelain kilns, night markets, and mountains, people can feel the "yard" formed by the curved red wall.

At the opening ceremony, the Publicity Department of Jingdezhen Municipal Party Committee and CAEG signed a cooperation agreement. The exhibition will last until November. Seminars for seniors, expert forums and other activities will also be held.
