The 16th China International Choral Festival will be held from July 16 to 20 in a combination of online and offline methods.

More than 530 choirs from 52 countries and regions signed up to participate, achieving a breakthrough in scale compared with the previous session.

This year's chorus festival will focus on "online-based, offline-assisted", and will carry out four major sections: cultural benefit, artistic exchange, conference forum, and performance evaluation. There are six main activities, including the meeting, the group evaluation of the festival, the special charity concert of "Love Collection Night", the China Chorus and Rural Aesthetic Education Forum, and the closing ceremony.

The festival is co-organized by the Bureau for External Cultural Relations of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, China Arts and Entertainment Group Ltd., the China Soong Ching Ling Science &Culture Center for Young People, Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Beijing Xicheng District People's Government, China Chorus Association, and International Federation for Choral Music.

Founded in 1992, the International Chorus Festival is a globally-influential, national-level chorus festival, and has been a major platform for art troupes to exhibit their musical talents, and communicate with each other.
