A concert was held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland in Beijing Yao Space on June 30. The concert was co-hosted by China Arts and Entertainment Group Ltd. (CAEG) and Xinhua Multimedia Data Co., Ltd. and undertaken by China Performing Arts Agency (CPAA) .

Leung Chi-yan, John, director of the Office of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of the People's Republic of China in Beijing (Beijing Office),and Li Baozong, general manager and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of CAEG attended the event. Representatives from Xinhua News Agency, the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Office of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism also attended the concert.

The concert invited the internationally influential Chinese chamber orchestra "Amber Quartet" as guest performers. Mendelssohn's "Sixth String Quartet" played the reflection and awe of life, "A Deep Friendship" and "Respect! "Life" and other classic songs unfolded a beautiful picture of the beautiful mountains and rivers of the motherland and the integration of all nationalities in the audience.

At the end of the performance, the orchestra closed the concert with a song "Pearl of the Orient." 

The concert was also broadcast live on Xinhua Kuaikan, Beijing Radio and Television, Xiaohongshu  (a social media platform) and other platforms, with 24,509 online viewers and 22,570 likes.
