As one of the main performance for the "Meet in Beijing" International Arts Festival, the CHORUS--CHINA Philharmonic Male Choir themed concert "Under the Bright Sun" was performed at the Beijing Concert Hall on March 19.

The CHORUS--CHINA Philharmonic Male Choir was established in 1993 and was the first professional male choir in the country.

The concert is divided into four chapters. The first chapter "In the Long River of History" has a strong historical atmosphere and classical charm, and songs such as "Yuyanggui Inspired to the East" and "The Great River to the East" shape a majestic and magnificent view of China. The musical image with profound artistic conception leads the audience to relive history through the chorus.

The second chapter "On the Way Forward" reviews the party's journey during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1931-45). "Remembering Qin'e·Lou Shanguan" has a heroic and passionate style, while "Jiuer" shows the voice of the people in a special era from a female perspective.

The third chapter, "On the Field of Hope", includes representative folk songs of ethnic minorities, showing the people of all ethnic groups' yearning for a better life and thriving social atmosphere.

The fourth chapter "Under the Bright Sun" focuses on the new era. "We" uses a lyrical way to show the anti-epidemic spirit, while "Go ahead, the Communist Party of China!" and "Under the Bright Sun" inspire people to work hard on the road to realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
