Beautiful China culture and tourism promotion event launched in Malaysia

The Beautiful China culture and tourism promotion event and business meeting was held in the Chinese Cultural Center in Kuala Lumpur on Sept 21. On the same day, the Night of Chinese Culture and Tourism was successfully staged at the National Theatre of Malaysia.

The series activities were sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China and the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, and organized by the China Arts and Entertainment Group Ltd.

The Beautiful China culture and tourism promotion event and business meeting showcased China's rich and colorful culture and tourism resources to Malaysian industry professionals through PowerPoint presentations, videos, and promotion of in-depth city tours and business negotiations. It focused on introducing in-depth tours of different cities and attractions in a bid to enhance the breadth and depth of cooperation in culture and tourism between the two countries.

Leaders from the Culture and Tourism ministries and departments at provincial and city levels in China, representatives of the Malaysian Tourism Industry Association, officials from the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, and representatives of culture and tourism institutions of the two countries participated in the event.

In the evening, the Night of Chinese Culture and Tourism debuted at the National Theatre of Malaysia with various activities, including promotional videos, martial arts performances, display of intangible cultural heritage and live interactive activities, as well as a China world heritage photo exhibition. The event was aimed at demonstrating the diverse tourism resources and unique cultural charm of China, and promoting the breadth and depth of the country's inbound tourism market.

Bai Tian, the Chinese ambassador to Malaysia, and Haslina Binti Abdul Hamid, the deputy secretary-general of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia, addressed the event and participated in live interaction during the intangible cultural heritage show.

The extraordinary martial arts performances from the Shaolin Temple Wushu Training Center in Henan province pushed the event to a climax and won thunderous applause.

On Sept 22 and 23, the promotional event went to Telok Anson, Malaysia, and Brunei to continue the promotion of Chinese culture and tourism.
